Our Manifesto

A Small Phoenix Team.

Massive Impact.

We aren't a sprawling agency with satellite offices and intern armies. We're a concentrated team of Phoenix-based web designers and engineers who believe the best web experiences are hand-forged, not factory-assembled.

The founders of Phoenix Tech Lab

Why We
Started

We spent years working in environments where "good enough" was the standard: bloated templates, clients passed between account managers who didn't understand code, support tickets disappearing into a black hole.

Phoenix Tech Lab exists to be the antidote to that.

When you hire us, you don't get a junior developer learning on your dime. You get the founders. You get our personal cell numbers. You get 100% of our attention.

We intentionally keep our client list small so we can treat every project like a partnership. We measure our success by your growth, not your launch date.

Our Technology

Introducing
"The Lab"

Other agencies hand you a clunky CMS and walk away. The Lab is different: it's a live page editor that comes standard with every site we build, giving you full control over your content without ever touching code.

  • Live Page EditorSee every change as you make it. Edit your text, images, and content directly on the page, no separate dashboard to learn.
  • Unlimited UsersAdd your whole team. There's no per-seat pricing or admin limits, ever.
  • Unlimited SupportReach out as often as you need. We don't cap tickets or bill you for asking questions.
  • Unlimited Content UpdatesUpdate your pages as often as you want, with no cap on edits and no extra charge for keeping your site current.
  • Privacy-First AnalyticsSee how your site is performing with analytics that don't track your visitors personally.
  • Zero Lock-InYour content lives directly in your site's files. If you ever choose to leave, your site keeps working perfectly without us. You own your code, forever.

Our Operating System

The principles that guide every line of code we write.

Engineering Over Templates

We don't use page builders. We write clean, semantic code with the latest web technologies: faster, more secure, and easier to rank on Google.

Radical Transparency

No hidden fees. You own your code, your domain, and your data. We're partners, not gatekeepers.

Obsessive Speed

A slow website is a broken website. We obsess over milliseconds, optimizing every asset and server response until your site feels instant.

Common Questions

You Asked, We Answered

Are you really just a small, two-person team?
Yes. We handle all design and development in-house ourselves, so nothing gets lost in translation between you and the person actually building your site.
Why custom code instead of WordPress or a page builder?
WordPress and page builders are great for some use cases, but they often lean on heavy plugins that slow your site down and open up security holes. We build custom, lightweight websites with modern tools, so your site loads instantly, stays secure, and scales as your business grows.
Do you offer ongoing support after launch?
Absolutely! We don't launch your site and disappear. Every site includes access to The Lab, our live editor with unlimited support and unlimited content updates built in, so your site keeps evolving with your business without extra fees or support tickets.
What's your typical project timeline?
Because we're a small team, we move fast. Most standard business websites take 2-4 weeks from kickoff to launch. Larger e-commerce or custom web app projects usually take 6-10 weeks. You'll get a detailed timeline before any work begins.
Do you only work with businesses in Phoenix?
Phoenix is home base, and we work with local businesses across the whole Valley, including Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, and Gilbert. Since everything we build is remote-friendly, we also take on clients anywhere in the U.S.
